about me
I am a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker, primarily working in photography, film, sculpture, and fine art bookmaking with experience working in a variety of professional settings ranging from film editing/production to website design, graphic design, and curatorial work. I am interested in working in documentary film and exploring identity, relationships between people and land, and the body in my own creative work. I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2021, with degrees in Film and Digital media, with a concentration in video production, and in studio art.
During my time as a student, I received a number of awards in grants in the arts, including an Irwin family artist grant, a Porter College Endowment grant, and the Eli Hollander Aspiring filmmaker award in 2021. Additionally, my work has been shown at Ryerson University, Blue Line Arts, the University of California - Santa Cruz, the university of california - davis, and the Santa Cruz Film Festival.
